RTA HealthLine

The $200 million HealthLine is Cleveland’s first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, serving the Euclid Corridor. It connects the two largest regional employment areas, Downtown and University Circle, and extends to the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere in East Cleveland. Eastbound buses depart from Public Square. After its completion, th HealthLine was named the ‘Best’ Bus Rapid Transit in North America by the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy.

Tower City Station

This station is the busy hub of RTA’s rail network. All rail lines converge here, and many RTA bus routes serve the area near the Station. An estimated 30,000 persons a day use this station. The station includes a climate-controlled waiting area;
RTA’s customer service center; and a 1,000-foot Walkway to Gateway, built and operated by RTA, that connects Tower City to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

West 25th-Ohio City Station

This station – the closest Rapid station to the Lincoln – is at the intersection of West 24th Street, Abbey Avenue and Lorain Avenue. The station is on the south side of Lorain Avenue, across the street from the historic West Side Market – a Cleveland landmark. The station is the first one to be located west of the Cuyahoga River. The Red Line is the only rapid transit line to serve Cleveland on both the east and west sides of the Cuyahoga River and provides service to Cleveland-Hopkins airport.
