Public Square

Part of the original 1796 city plan, Cleveland Public Square is the city’s central plaza. Public Square is downtown’s premier outdoor venue. The Square is a host site to hundreds of events that happen year round. Cleveland’s Public Square was designed with people in mind. The recently-renovated layout features a singular footprint along with other great features like a cafe, a water fountain, an ice rink, a lush lawn with a natural amphitheater, the KeyBank walking promenade, a speakers terrace, and much more.

Tower City Station

This station is the busy hub of RTA’s rail network. All rail lines converge here, and many RTA bus routes serve the area near the Station. An estimated 30,000 persons a day use this station. The station includes a climate-controlled waiting area;
RTA’s customer service center; and a 1,000-foot Walkway to Gateway, built and operated by RTA, that connects Tower City to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Heinen’s Downtown

Notable for both its architecture and its amenities, the Downtown Heinen’s opened in 2015 in the historic Cleveland Trust Building at Euclid Avenue and East 9th Street.
