Cleveland Candle Co.
What started off as a fun date night idea in the kitchen, quickly lead to parties with friends and the creation of Cleveland Candle Co’s first shop in Mentor back in 2014. Two years later, its Ohio City location opened. At the store, guests can make candles at the “Candle Bar” and sample scenets from the huge collection on the pre-made candle wall!

Their Ohio City location, with indoor and outdoor seating spaces, is located in the Lofts at West Side Community House.

Each batch of Mitchell’s Ice Cream is hand-crafted in its Ohio City Kitchen. The building got its start over a hundred years ago as a live theater. Mitchell’s got its start in 1999, and since 2014 ice cream has been the show at this location. The Kitchen is always on view, come by and see us baking crumble for Wildberry Crumble, or mixing in the chocolate chunks for Double Chocolate Chunk.

The Red Line Greenway is a nearly two-mile paved all purpose trail that links the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail to two RTA Red Line Rapid Transit stations, and provides a primary active transportation corridor from West 65th Street to downtown Cleveland. Access is available off Columbus Rd, near where it connects with Willey.

This station – the closest Rapid station to the Lincoln – is at the intersection of West 24th Street, Abbey Avenue and Lorain Avenue. The station is on the south side of Lorain Avenue, across the street from the historic West Side Market – a Cleveland landmark. The station is the first one to be located west of the Cuyahoga River. The Red Line is the only rapid transit line to serve Cleveland on both the east and west sides of the Cuyahoga River and provides service to Cleveland-Hopkins airport.

The Carnegie West Branch is located in the heart of Ohio City in Frank Novak Park. Carnegie West may be accessed by RTA bus routes 79 and 79A, as well as the W. 25th–Ohio City Rapid Station. The library offers free wifi, public computers with Internet access, and 3D printing. Carnegie West offers one large meeting room that seats up to 50, a medium meeting room that seats up to 12, and two small meeting rooms that seat four to six patrons.

This award-winning grocery is stocked with all-local goods: seasonal produce, whole grains, flours, dried beans, freshly-baked breads, farm eggs, yogurts, milk, fermented foods, canned goods and much more. The whole animal butcher shop features all freshly cut, pasture-raised meats & cut-to-order sausages: pastured beef, heritage & heirloom varietals of pork, pasture raised chicken, and on occasion specialty meats like rabbit, lamb, duck, turkey, venison, and goat.
