Mitchell’s Ice Cream

Each batch of Mitchell’s Ice Cream is hand-crafted in its Ohio City Kitchen. The building got its start over a hundred years ago as a live theater. Mitchell’s got its start in 1999, and since 2014 ice cream has been the show at this location. The Kitchen is always on view, come by and see us baking crumble for Wildberry Crumble, or mixing in the chocolate chunks for Double Chocolate Chunk.

The Red Line Greenway is a nearly two-mile paved all purpose trail that links the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail to two RTA Red Line Rapid Transit stations, and provides a primary active transportation corridor from West 65th Street to downtown Cleveland. Access is available off Columbus Rd, near where it connects with Willey.

West 25th-Ohio City Station

This station – the closest Rapid station to the Lincoln – is at the intersection of West 24th Street, Abbey Avenue and Lorain Avenue. The station is on the south side of Lorain Avenue, across the street from the historic West Side Market – a Cleveland landmark. The station is the first one to be located west of the Cuyahoga River. The Red Line is the only rapid transit line to serve Cleveland on both the east and west sides of the Cuyahoga River and provides service to Cleveland-Hopkins airport.

Carnegie West Library

The Carnegie West Branch is located in the heart of Ohio City in Frank Novak Park. Carnegie West may be accessed by RTA bus routes 79 and 79A, as well as the W. 25th–Ohio City Rapid Station. The library offers free wifi, public computers with Internet access, and 3D printing. Carnegie West offers one large meeting room that seats up to 50, a medium meeting room that seats up to 12, and two small meeting rooms that seat four to six patrons.
